Romania: Danube River. Two maps: (1) 'Commission Européenne du Danube. Embouchure de Soulina. Amélioration de l'éclairage 1886-1887'. Scale: 3 inches to to 3,000 feet. Compass indicator. (2) 'Delta du bras de Kilia', 'Plan de l'Embouchure de Soulina' and 'Delta du Bras de St. Georges'. Three plans, each showing contours according to English survey of 1871, contours according to Commission's survey of 1883, and consequent changes in beach and dry land between those dates. Scale: 2 inches to 12,000 feet. Notes on colouring. Compass indicators. All lithographed by J Schenk, Galatz. Illustrating Mémoire sur les travaux d'amélioration du cours du Bas-Danube executés pendant la période 1873-1886 par la Commission Européenne, published at Galatz, 1888.
