Ireland: 'Ortelius Improved or a new map of Ireland: wherein are inserted the Principal Families of Irish and English Extraction who possessed that Kingdom on the Commencement of the Seventeenth Century'. Map also shows counties, place-names, rivers. Title in decorative cartouche, surrounded by an anchor, trees, a seated female figure holding an Irish harp in her left hand, and Leinster's coat of arms. Dedicated to Prince William Fitzgerald, Duke of Leinster, Governor of Kildare. Scale not constant. Engraved by S Thompson, Dublin. [Published by Wogan Bean and Pike, Dublin].
