Two plans relating to the Residency, Zomba, then in British Central African, now in Malawi. (1) 'Plan of The Residency, Zomba, , containing in extent acres 211.3.32'. Map showing buildings, terrain, River Mlungusi, land ownership and roads. Scale:1 inch to 4 chains. Compass indicator. Surveyed, plotted and drawn by T H Lloyd, Surveyor to the Administration, February 1894. (2) Southern Province: sketch map of area between Mount Mlanje and the Zomba Residency showing route taken [by Mr Sharpe], made road, line of cliff walls of Mount Mlanje and some details of terrain. Reference table on map. Plane table sheet to go with the sketch. Scale of map: 1 inch to about 5 miles (calculated). Compass rose. Alfred Sharpe [Consul for Territories under British Influence to the North of the Zambesi], Zomba, 2 November 1894. Dimensions: (1) 63 cm x 63 cm; (2) sketch: 34 cm x 63 cm. Plane table sheet: 34 cm x 50 cm.
