Germany: Dresden: 9 sheets of architectural drawings of new picture gallery. (1) 'Situations-Plan vom Zwinger und des neuen Galleriegebäudes'; (2) ground floor plan, (3) side view and section through side, (4) basement plan, (5) section through front, (6) first floor plan, (7) elevation of south side, (8) second floor plan, (9) elevation of north side. Scale: (1) 27 cm to 600 Dresden Ellen; (2-9) 40 cm to 96 Dresden Ellen. Dimensions: (1) 28 cm x 31 cm; (2-9) each 61 cm x 112 cm. In 1846, a new art gallery, the Semper Gallery, was built to the north of the Zwinger.
