'Cary's New Map of England and Wales with Part of Scotland...': map on four sheets showing major roads, rivers and canals, cities, markets, towns, parishes, villages, parks, forests etc; also shows north-west coast of France from Dieppe to Calais and coast of Ireland from Arklow to Ballycastle. Dedicated to the Earl of Chesterfield, Baron Walsingham, Post Master General, and the members of the Privy Council. Scale: 1 inch to 5 miles. Compass star. Drawn from actual survey. Insets: map of the Isles of Scilly and general map of England and Wales. Published by J Cary, Engraver and Map Seller, 11 June 1794. Sheet sizes between 80 cm x 101 cm and 127 cm x 97 cm.
