Sweden, Finland: Geographiske Chartor öfver Swerige: atlas originally containing eighteen maps (Nos 1 and 6 are wanting). The atlas is divided into three sections, each with a separate title page: (i) northern provinces; (ii) Finland; (iii) Sweden. Prefatory table of contents. Reference table. Various scales. Dedicated to Gustavus Adolphus IV. Sizes between 91 cm x 60 cm and 44 cm x 52 cm, bound in volume 72 cm x 60 cm. Variously based on observations by Anton Swab 1795, Clas Wallman 1796, C M Robsahm 1796-719, and C P Hällström, 1798-1804. Engraved by Fredrik Akrel, G Broling and S J Neele, Strand, London. Views drawn by Wallman, Hällström and J F Martin, and engraved by Akrel and Martin. Published by S G Hermelin, Stockholm. Title pages dated 1797, 1799 and 1801; table of contents dated 1805.
