Two maps of places in the Canary Islands. (1) 'Islas Canarias-Illes Canaries'. Map of the islands showing projected lighthouses and ranges, direction of submarine cables. Scale: about 1 inch to 21 miles. Tables in both margins, in French and Spanish, giving details of the lighthouses. Compass indicator. (2) 'Isla de Tenerife la primera que se publica con las carreteras' - 'Ile de Teneriffe la première indiquant les Chemins Royaux'. Map shows road completed and projected, tracks. Reference table. Scale: about 1 inch to 5 miles. F Appel, lithographer, Paris. Published by Hardisson Frères. Fourth edition. Undated: a plan of Santa Cruz de Teneriffe from the same publisher and in the same style is dated 1894. Dimensions: (1) 43 cm x 18 cm; (2) 32 cm x 25 cm.
