Portugal: Azores: Admiralty Chart 1950: 'Atlantic Ocean Azores or Western Isles surveyed by Captain A T E Vidal Royal Navy. 1843-4'. A pencilled note states the scale as 1 inch to 14 miles; scale, however, is not constant because of projection. Compass roses. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published at the Hydrographic Office, Admiralty, 26 July 1849. Large corrections August 1867. Small corrections 1880, 1893-1894, 1896-1898. Magnetic variation 1900.
