Gibraltar, Spain: tracing from map by Tofiño of 1786, showing distances from the British shore around Gibraltar. Scale: 12 inches to 4 nautical miles. Compass star. Enclosed in Colonial Office letter of 9 September 1875 (FO 72/1533), printed in 'Correspondence respecting Maritime Jurisdiction in Gibraltar Waters. 1769-1879' (FO 881/4123). Endorsed by E H [Hertslet]: 'I obtained this tracing from the War Office Apr/82'.
