Spain: Madrid province: 'Mapa Topográfico de España ..'.: sheets 484 Buitrago del Lozoya; 509 Torrelaguna; 533 San Lorenzo del Escorial; 534 Colmenar Viejo; 535 Algete; 558 Villaviciosa de Odón; 559 Madrid; 560 Alcalá de Heneres; 581 Navalcarnero; 582 Getafe; 583 Arganda; 605 Aranjuez; reference and title sheets. Title in decorative cartouche. Reference table to conventional symbols. Twelve sheets, each 41 cm x 60 cm; reference sheet 41 cm x 60 cm; title sheet 50 cm x 70 cm. Based on work started in 1854. Engraved by P Peñas. Lithographed and published by the Geographical and Statistical Institute, Madrid, under the direction of His Excellency Don Carlos Ibañez é Ibañez de Ibero, Director General, with assistance from members of the Artillery, Engineers and General Staff, astronomers. Prepared and published at various dates 1875-80.
