'Atlas Spécial de la Géographie Physique, Politique et Historique de la France,' by François Bazin and Félix Cadet: 32 plates, with title page, introduction and table of contents. Contents include: (a) themes such as hydrography, coasts, estuaries, canals, railways, industry, commerce and agriculture; political and administrative boundaries; military, ecclesiastical, educational and judicial organisation; (b) localities depicted include Alps and Pyrenees; Seine, Loire, Garonne, Rhône and Rhine basins; Paris, Lyons, Algeria; French possessions in Africa, Asia, America and the Pacific. Reference tables on most sheets. Various scales. Engraved by Erhard, rue Bonaparte and rue St André-des-Arts, Paris. Printed by Bineteau, V Jansen and H Édin, rue Antoine-Dubois, Paris. Published by the authors, rue Vanneau 56, and J Delalain, rue des écoles, Paris. [c. 1862]: plate 31 suggests that the atlas was produced in or after that year.
