Postal map shows rivers, mountain ranges, towns, churches, provincial boundaries. Scale: 1 inch to 25 miles. Scale bars on tablet decorated with foliage, birds, a dog and a turret. Below title are two soldiers, and above it Choiseul's arms supported by an angel and a gladiator. Drawn and engraved by P Aveline. Published by B A Jaillot, Paris, 1748. Corrected to 1767.
