Map of area now in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland: 'Oro-Hydro-Graphische General Charte vom Königreiche Sachsen und den angrenzenden Ländern. Zum Gebrauch als Post und Reisecharte sowohl, als für Civilbeamte und insbesondere für das Studium der Kriegsgeschichte'. Scale: 1 inch to 6 miles (16 cm to 10 German miles). Two sheets showing rivers, mountains, towns, fortifications, residences, in area between Schweinfurt, Prague, Grunberg, Frankfurt and Hildesheim. Reference table. Drawn by 'R v L' (whose identity has not been established). Published at the Rittnersche Kunsthandlung, Dresden, 1813. A second reference table to division of territory between Saxony, Upper and Lower Lusatia, Bohemia, Confederation of the Rhine and Prussia, suggests that the map was intended to be coloured.
