Italy: Sardinia: 'Carta topografica degli stati in terraferma di S.M. il Re di Sardegna ...'. (Part 1). Sheets 1-68 of a topographical map including index map; showing roads, railways, significant buildings, boundaries, bridges, mooring places, other features of waterways, minerals and agricultural produce. Scale bars in Italian, French, Swiss, German, Austrian, English and Russian units. Longitudes taken from Turin. Reference table on map and additional summary table with index map. 67 sheets, each approximately 51.5 cm x 71 cm; index map and additional reference table affixed to sheet 49.5 cm x 64 cm. Individual sheets drawn variously by Mudotti and J Etienne-Gayet; lithographed by Biasoli. All prepared at the Reale Corpo di Stato Maggiore, Richetti, Director. Surveyed various dates 1853-1856; verified 1851-1853; published 1852-1858. Information about contributors and scales contained in lower margin of each sheet. (Part 2) maps numbered 69-135, conmprises a second copy of each sheet with lower margin cut off.
