Map in six sheets showing quarries, trigonometrical points, place names, remarkable buildings, post offices, bridges, dams, canals, anchorages, roads, boundaries. Reference table. Statistical table for 1846. Inset: Capraia. Drawn by V Brambilla. Variously engraved by A Lecocq, G Biasioli or Arghinenti. Reduced from the Carta Topografica, and that made using Flamsteed's modified projection taken from Turin.
