Ukraine: 'Sketch of Bolgrad and Tabac taken 28th September 1856 from a Tumulus on Trajan's Wall on the West Side of the Yalpokh Valley'. Map showing rough contours. No scale shown. Drawn by Lieutenant C Gordon, Royal Engineers. View of same area on dorse. The map and view were subsequently lithographed, on a single sheet, at the Topographical and Statistical Depôt, War Department, 10 December 1856.
