Europe, east. Map on six sheets: 'Atlas ethnographique des provinces habitées en totalité ou en partie par des Polonais par R. d'Erkert ...'. Map showing title sheet and five maps each showing identical area between Dresden and the River Dnieper. One map shows general ethnological distribution; four show respectively the distribution of Poles, Russians, Germans, Lithuanians and Letts. A fifth such map, showing distribution of Jews, was not found in August 1995. Reference tables. Statistical table on plate 1. General notes on each plate. By R d'Erkert. Lithographed by Winckelmann and Son, Berlin. Published in St Petersburg, 1863.
