Title on monument surrounded by historical and mythical scenes (Colossus at Rhodes, chariot racing, wrestling, sacrifice, galleys); representations of Greek coins. Chronological list of rulers; alphabetical list of great men of Greece. Table of conventional signs. Elaborate compass star showing the 32 points of the compass. Insets: Thermopylae, Sparta, Athens, Phera (Velestinon); battles of Plataea and Salamis; Olympia and Delphi; view of Mount Parnassus; diagram of an ancient theatre.
