Turkey: Dardanelles: 'The Dardanelles showing the position and armament of the High Level Forts. And the depots and observation stations for submarine defence. 1891'. Scale: one inch to one sea mile. Compass roses. Chart also shows soundings, terrain, waterways, place names, roads. Reference table. (irregular). Inset: 'The Narrows Surveyed by Captn. T.A.B. Spratt, R.N. C.B. 1855 assisted by Lieutt. A.L. Mansell, J. Stokes, Master; G.R. Wilkinson, Acting Mate, and E.W. Brooker, Second Master, R.N.'. Scale of inset: 1:29,136. Three inset views of the coast. The map is based on Admiralty chart 2429 (see FO 925/3223). Illustrating Supplement no 1 to NID report no 194: ': 'Turkey. Coast Defences in Europe, Asia, and Africa. 1889', issued in 1891.
