Admiralty chart 2074: `Chart of Cyprus'. Scale:1 inch to 3.5 sea miles Compasss roses. Surveyed by Captain Thomas Graves, HMS Volage, 1849. Inset maps and views of Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta, Kyrenia and the ruins of Salamis. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published at the Admiralty, 8 August 1851. Additions and corrections 1864 and 1874. Magnetic variation 1875. FO 78/802 contains despatches of 31 May and 21 September 1849 from Vivien Kerr, British Consul in Cyprus, commenting on the arrival, progress and departure of Captain Graves and his surveyors.
