Greece, Albania: 'Map of the Turco-Greek Frontier Reduced and Compiled from the Austrian Staff and Kiepert's maps': 'Old Frontier' [of 1832] and Berlin Conference boundary of 1880. With hill-shading and heights of land added. Coloured manuscript additions show the three stages by which Turkey would evacuate the territory. Signed by Captain Leopold V Swaine, and Military Attaché, and enclosed in his despatch number 16 of 13 May 1881, forwarded to the Foreign Office in George Goschen's despatch number 397 of 17 May 1881 (see FO 78/3279). Filed with copy of confidential print of the despatch. Reference table. Compiled and lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quarter Master General's Department, Horse Guards, July 1880. To illustrate print of memorandum concerning the military position in Thessaly and Epirus, by Major J C Ardagh, 19 July 1880.
