Europe, south-east: 'Karte der Europäischen Türkei von W. Liebenow ...'. Illustrating new railway schemes in the Balkan Peninsula. Also shows rivers and towns. Reference table to railways. Inset: Constantinople and the Bosporus at a scale of 1:300,000. Published, engraved and printed by the Berlin Lithographic Institute. Special off-print of Austro-Hungarian railway map. Material on Turkey in Europe taken from Kiepert, von Scheda and von Hochstetter. Part of another map, showing Lower Danube area between Odessa and Paskani, has been affixed to upper right corner. Manuscript additions by Lieutenant Edgar Vincent, Coldstream Guards, illustrating report of 10 November 1880 to George Goschen: see FO 78/3098.
