Europe, south-east: map: 'General Karte von der Europäischen Turkei nach allen vorhandenen Originalkarten und itinerarischen Hülfsmitteln bearbeitet und gezeichnet von Heinrich Kiepert'. Manuscript additions show the line of demarcation specified in the Convention of Armistice between Turkey and Russia signed at Adrianople, 19/31 January 1878. Railways corrected to 1876. According to the FO 925 index, this map was enclosed in Henry Layard's despatch number 185/78 of 27 February [1878] to the War Office, forwarded to the Foreign Office on 12 March 1878. It was acknowledged by the Foreign Office on 13 March 1878: see FO 78/2888. Terrain engraved by W Kratz, Schleich and Sporer. Writing engraved by W and C Kratz, Weimar. Published by Dietrich Reimer, Berlin, 1870. Insets, at various scales, of Montenegro, the southern Dardanelles, and Constantinople and the Bosporus. Railways added 1875.
