Turkey: Dardanelles: seven sketch plans and sections of fortifications: (1) 'Seddul-Bahr (Barrier of the Sea)'; (2) 'Kum-Kaleh Sandy Fort'; (3) 'Khilid Bahr'; (4) 'Derma Burnu'; (5) 'Cham Burnu (Fir Tree Point)'; (6) Canakkale: 'Sketch of ground near the town of Kaleh Sultanie or Dardanelle': rivers, contour lines, fortifications. Scale: 2 inches to 1 mile [1: 31,680]. 32 cm x 35 cm. (Sgnd) Captain T H Anstey, Royal Engineers, to illustrate notes on the nature of the ground in the neighbourhood of Dardanelle, 1 February 1877.
