Romania, Bulgaria: map showing Dobrogea frontier between Silistria and Mangalia as proposed by European Commission and Prince Gortchakov, the Russian Chancellor, 1879. Reference table in left margin to proposed frontiers, navigable waterways and area of inundation of the River Danube. Dimensions: 41.5 cm x 59.5 cm on sheet 50 cm x 69 cm. Lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, Quarter Master General's Department, 1877. Illustrating 'Memorandum on Dobrudja Frontier 3rd March 1879'. Map and memorandum signed by Major J C Ardagh, DAQMG.
