Insets: south-east Marmara Island; Rodosto Road; Erekli Bay; Palatia and Mermerdjik Bays; Pivatos or Boados Road; Silivri Road; Buyuk Chekmejeh; Gemlik or Kios Road; Gulf of Ismid; Mola Group; Artaki Isthmus; Pasha Leman and Kutali Road; Artahi or Erdek Road; Kamir Lema; view of Gallipoli Point. From surveys by Captain Manganari, Imperial Russian Navy, 1845 and 1848; and Captain T A B Spratt, Royal Navy, CB, 1854-5. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published at the Admiralty, 25 August 1859. Major corrections January 1864 and March 1873; minor corrections to May 1877. Orthography revised and corrected by Dr H Kiepert, Berlin, 1865.
