Europe, south-east: 'General-Karte der Europäischen Turkei'. Map of Turkey in Europe, showing rivers, roads, hachures, place names. Reference table to sizes of towns; table translating names from Turkish to German. Insets: Montenegro, northern Moldova, mouth of the Bosporus, Crete, Constantinople and the Dardanelles. Compiled and drawn by F Handtke. Printed and published by C Fleming, Glogau. [?1876]: date taken from FO 925 index. According to the FO 925 index, the coloured manuscript additions show the line of demarcation specified in the Convention of Armistice between Turkey and Russia, signed at Adrianople on 19 and 31 January 1878.
