Area now in Canada: 'General Section; Map of Vancouver Island to York Factory, Hudson Bay. Eleven Hundred and Fifty Miles in Three Parts'. (2) 'Diagram Section of the Prairies, Hudson Bay to Rocky Mountains Eleven Hundred Miles'. (1) Horizontal scale: 1 inch to 10 miles. Vertical scale: 1 inch to 10,000 feet. (2) Horizontal scale: 1 inch to 24 miles. Vertical scale: 1 inch to 1800 feet. To illustrate Captain Palliser's Journals, Detailed Reports and observation, presented to both Houses of Parliament, 19 May 1863.
