Scale: 1 inch to about 36 chains. Compass indicator. Insets: pits. Stanford's Geographical Establishment, London. To accompany Captain Palliser's 'Journals, Detailed Reports and Observations', regarding his explorations in British North America, presented to both Houses of Parliament, 19 May 1863.
