'Map of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Part of Canada'. Scale: 1 inch to about 24 miles. Shows the Explored Route in 1846 and 1847 for the proposed Trunk Line of Railway from Halifax to Quebec. With manuscript additions showing routes proposed, examined or with contracts made, in the Canadian provinces and in adjacent parts of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Reference tables to routes. Without dates of survey or manuscript additions. The date 1861, in manuscript, presumably records the map's receipt at the Foreign Office. Produced by Captains Robinson and Henderson, Royal Engineers, 31 August 1848.
