Area now in Guyana. IB 562. Reduced copy of 'Map of British Guiana' constructed from the Surveys and Routes of Captain Schomburgk; and other documents in the possession of the Colonial Department. Drawn at the Military Depôt Quarter Master General's Office, Horse Guards, Whitehall, London, by L J Hebert April 1842. Shows the boundary between British Guiana and Venezuela which the British Government was prepared to accept: it accompanied the draft sent by Lord Granville to M de Rojas, Venezuelan Minister for Foreign Affairs, on 15 September 1881. Printed, lithographed at the Intelligence Branch, War Office, London, June 1886. With a few manuscript additions of names and underlinings.
