Area now in Canada: Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta. 'British North American Exploring Expedition. Country Between The Red River Settlement and The Rocky Mountains'. Scale: 1 inch to 33 miles. Map shows the various routes of the expedition, under the command of Captain John Palliser in 1857 and 1858. Map also shows the routes of the expedition and those of Dr Hector 'when detached to examine Passes in the Rocky Mountains'. Notes on vegetation. Lithographer: John Arrowsmith, 1859.
