America: 'A New and Accurate Map of Louisiana, with Part of Florida and Canada, and the Adjacent Countries'. Shows the area east of 105°W with roads, missions, native American Indian territories. Title in a baroque cartouche, beside which is drawn a standing native American Indian holding a bow. Note on authorities consulted in compilation. Scale: 1 inch to about 132 miles. Compass rose. 'Drawn from Surveys, assisted by the most approved English and French Maps and Charts ... regulated by Astronological Observations'. By Emanuel Bowen.
