United States of America: Maryland: Chesapeake Bay. Admiralty Charts 355 a and b: 'Chesapeake Bay from the United States Coast Survey 1859'. Scale: 1 inch to about 4 miles. Compass roses. The Topography made up from Blunt's Map compiled from Official sources and published in 1861. Drawn by Edward J Powell. Engraved by J and C Walker. The sea is tinted blue, railway lines and the cities of Washington, Richmond and Baltimore are coloured red. Two sheets. Published 31 October 1861.
