Shows the coastal provinces from Pernambuco to Rio de Janeiro, with physical features, roads and towns. Dedicated to Don Pedro, Emperor of Brazil by Guillaume de Eschwege and Ch Fr Ph de Martius. Scale: 1 inch to about 30 miles. Key to signs and abbreviations. Inset maps show the environs of Villa Rica and Rio de Janeiro and the Rio de Janeiro Bay
