Panama. 'Rio Savana or Chaparti, with the Route thence to the Atlantic'. Shows a proposed canal from the Savana to the Caribbean which would form a waterway across the isthmus from the Gulf of San Miguel to the coast near Vieja. Soundings, topographical notes along the course of the river. Note of dredging and cutting work necessary. Reference table of tides, travelling time.
