North America, West Indies. Sheet 20 of 'General Karte von Nordamerica sat den Westindischen Inseln'. Map showing the eastern area of North America from Hudson's Bay to South Carolina. Place names in English and German. Title in a baroque cartouche. Scale: 1 inch to about 80 miles; compass indicator. Taken from Pownall's survey by F A Schraembl, 1788. With a drawing of a native American Indian woman with bow and quiver, two children with a dolphin, a shark and a beaver.
