Area now in Guyana and Venezuela. Three versions: Atlas to accompany the case presented on the part of the Government of Her Britannic Majesty to the Arbitral Tribunal between Great Britain and the United States of Venezuela constituted under the provisions of a treaty ratified at Washington on June 14th, 1897 ..'.. Forty-six maps of the region under dispute, reproduced from maps made between 1599 and 1886 and including seven by Sir Robert Schomburgk. Compiled under the supervision of Major S C N Grant, FRGS, Royal Engineers, in the Intelligence Division of the War Office, and Major-General Sir John Ardagh, KCB, CB, FRGS, Royal Engineers, Director of Military Intelligence.The maps are mostly coloured and were produced at Stanford's Geographical Establishment. Bound in a red cover with gold title.
