Admiralty Chart 2261: 'Panama Bay' Scale: 1 inch to about 3 miles. Compass roses. Surveyed by Captain Henry Kellett, Royal Navy, CB and Commander James Wood, 1847. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published 1854, corrected to 1882. Received at the Foreign Office, 2 July 1884. Four insets: (1) Panama Roadstead, surveyed by Captains Sir E Belcher and H Kellett, 1837-1847. Scale of chart: 1 inch to about 6 cables. (2) Boca Chica, surveyed by G H Inskip, 1854. Scale: 8 inches to 1 mile. (3) Darien Harbour and its entrances, surveyed by G H Inskip, 1854. Scale: 1 inch to 1.5 miles. (4) The Pacific Steam Navigation Company's Works at Taboga. Scale: 1 inch to 100 yards.
