Surveyed by Captain Orlebar and Staff Commander J H Kerr, Royal Navy, assisted by Commander Hancock, Messrs Carey, Des Brisay, and Hyndman, Royal Navy and W L Scarnell, G Robinson, and W F Maxwell, Navigating Lieutenants, Royal Navy,1867-1871. Views: Cape Bonavista Lighthouse, Hants Head, Baccalieu lighthouse, the channel between Baccalieu Island and Split Point, and Torbay. Drawn for engraving by H Stafford, Hydrographic Office. Engraved by Davies, Bryer and Co. Published at the Admiralty 10 February 1868 under the Superintendence of Captain G H Richards, Royal Navy, Hydrographer, FRS. Corrected to 1888.
