Newfoundland (now in Canada), Quebec. Admiralty Chart 284: 'North America - Gulf of St. Lawrence. Coasts of Newfoundland and Lower Canada. Cow Head Harbour to St. Geneviève Bay with the Canadian and Labrador Coasts between Great Mecattina Island and Amour Pt'. Views of the entrances to Hawke Bay and Cow Harbour. Scale: 1 inch to about 4 miles. Compass roses. Inset: Blanc Sablon Bay by Captain H W Bayfield, Royal Navy. Engraved by Davies and Company. Drawn by Staff Commander W F Maxwell, Royal Navy. Compiled from British and French Government Surveys to 1882. Published at the Admiralty 5 March 1884 under the superintendence of Captain Sir Frederick J Evans, Royal Navy, KCB, FRS, Hydrographer. Corrected to 1889.
