Revised edition of Admiralty Chart 232a and b: 'Newfoundland from the Surveys of Cook, Lane and Bullock with additions from the Surveys of Captain Orlebar and Staff Commander Kerr R N and Officers of the French Imperial Navy. The Rivers and Lakes by Alexander Murray, Esqr., Geological Surveyor. London. Published at the Admiralty June 30th 1870.' Manuscript. additions in red ink show French fixed fishing establishments in 1872, according to Report of Commander Knowles and Captain Hoskin (Hoskyn). Scale: 1 inch to about 8.75 miles.
