F.R.S., Director. The Burland Lithographic Co. Montreal'. The geological structure of some parts of the western United States is also shown. Reference table to geological periods. Scale: 1 inch to 45 miles. In two sheets. Used to illustrate the boundary between Canada and Alaska and signed by the Canadian Minister of the Interior, 28 May 1886. Noted as accompanying the Order in Council of 5 June 1886; enclosed in the Earl of Iddesleigh's letter to Mr Phelps of 27 August 27, 1886.
