Description

'Map B. Map of that portion of ... New Brunswick and Lower Canada ... disputed by the Government of the United States with parts of the Adjacent Country .... directed to be made 1839'. Compass indicator on one map on B. Engraved by James Wyld, Charing Cross East, London. Foreign Office, April 1840. Also under this reference is a sheet of 8 small maps including parts of Mitchell's map 1755, Coronelli's 1689, De Lisle's (revised) 1783, L'Escarbot's 1609, A sketch of part of the River St John, A section from Colonel Bouchette and the 1609 Marcus L'Escarbot figure.
