From a Trigonometrical Survey under the direction of A D Bache, Superintendent of the Survey of the Coast of the United States. Triangulation by C M Eakin and F H Gerdes, Assistants, USCS. Topography by W E Greenwell, Assistant. Hydrography by parties under the command of Lieutenants B Sands, J Alden and C P Patterson, USN Assistants. Published in 1856. Electrotype by G Mathiot, USCS.
