Angle of the Lake of the Woods to the Rocky Mountains under Article 2 of the Convention of 20 October 1818. Signed on 29 May 1876. (Signed by the British and United States Commissioners)'. Joint series of twenty-four maps and an index in a volume. Map showing the 49th parallel and surrounding country. Physical features, trigonometrical stations, positions of iron boundary pillars and mounds. Scale: 1 inch to 2 miles. Index map: 1 inch to 16 miles. Each map is signed by the British and United States commissioners, D R Cameron and Archibald Campbell, and by the chief Astronomers, Captain S Anderson, Royal Engineers, and Captain W J Twining. Photozincographed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, under the Superintendence of Lieutenant Colonel R M Parsons, Royal Engineers, FRS. Each sheet is certified correct by Major-General J Cameron, Royal Engineers, Director-General.
