Canada: United States of America. Atlas of maps in both manuscript and photozincographed formats. 'Maps of the boundary between the British possessions in North America and the United States. From the North West. Angle of the Lake of the Woods to the Rocky Mountains under Article 2 of the Convention of 20 October 1818. Signed on 29 May 1876. (Signed by the British and United States Commissioners)'. Joint series of twenty-four maps and an index in a volume map showing the 49th parallel and surrounding country. Physical features, trigonometrical stations, positions of iron boundary pillars and mounds. Scale: 1 inch to 1 mile. Index map: 1 inch to 16 miles. Each map is signed by the British and United States commissioners, D R Cameron and Archibald Campbell, and by the chief Astronomers, Captain S Anderson, Royal Engineers, and Captain W J Twining. Photozincographed at the Ordnance Survey Office, Southampton, under the Superintendence of Lieutenant Colonel R M Parsons, Royal Engineers, FRS. Each sheet of photozincographed map is certified correct by Major-General J Cameron, Royal Engineers, Director-General.
