Argentina: Admiralty Chart: 'Sketch of the River Uruguay from Paysandu to Martin Garcia'. Shows the river in five sections, with soundings taken along HMS Philomel's route. Compass indicators on each section. Scale: 1 inch to about 1/6 miles. By Captain B. Sulivan, HMS Philomel, 1847. Engraved by J and C Walker. Published 6 March 1851. A cutting from printed notes on tides, currents and surveying methods is pasted on to the map beneath the title. Indexed by FO 925/1543.
