Description

United States of America: South Carolina: Charleston. Chart in four sheets. 'Map of Charleston Harbour and the adjacent Coast and Country, South Carolina, surveyed at intervals in 1823, 1824 and 1825 by Captain Hartman Bache, and Topographical Engineers: Lieutenant James D Graham, 3rd Artillery; Lieutenant C M Eakin, 2nd Artillery, Lieutenant W M Boyce, 1st Infantry. Tables of tides and notes on the sea bed. Sites of fortifications in colour. Scale: 1 inch to 4 miles. Engraved by W J Stone, Washington. Mauscript key has been pasted on to the map.
