'A New Chart of the Coast of New England, Nova Scotia, New France or Canada, with the Islands of Newfoundld [Newfoundland], Cape Breton, St. John's etcetera. Done from the Original Publish'd in 1744 at Paris, by Mons. N. Bellin, Enginier to the Marine Office'. Title in a rococo cartouche with a view of Quebec harbour with a warship. Shows soundings. Scale: 1 inch to 50 miles. Compass indicator. Insets: Fort Dauphin, city of Quebec, the city and port of Louisbourg, and the Atlantic Ocean. Engraved by T Jefferys. The bottom left hand corner is torn away.
